    LittleBigRead is an informal program for school age youth that pairs older kids with younger kids for one-on-one reading time. Younger kids can read to or be read to by older kids or they can take turns reading a book together. This program is meant to be a fun and no-pressure way to build a passion for reading for the fun of it. It is not a tutoring program or homework help. Books will be chosen by the readers from the library's collection or favorites can be brought from home. LittleBigRead meets weekly on Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted, on the youth side of the library. No registration is necessary.

  5. Pizza & Pages Book Club

    January 30, 2017, 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM @ Youth Activity Area

    Pizza & Pages is an informal book club for youth in grades 6-12. We meet once a month to talk about books we chose to read from an assigned topic, genre, or theme. To prepare for the January meeting, read at least one book nominated for the 2016-2017 Maud Hart Lovelace (MHL) book award. All of these books can be found at the library. More information about this award and the nominated books is available at www.maudhartlovelace.org. Come to the meeting prepared to talk about the book(s) you read as we enjoy delicious pizza. Future meeting dates will be announced in advance on the library's website and here on our Facebook page.
