This program is for all ages and is designed for people who want to learn more about playing a ukulele. The library has ukuleles on site to try out, and a person on staff who will teach you about the ukulele and how to learn how to play. You may also bring your own uke if you have one. We will go over the basics and show you additional resources for learning the ukulele. No experience necessary.
March 21, 2019, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Children's Programming Area
STORYTIME is intended for children ages birth - 6 years old with an actively participating adult caregiver. Storytime takes place in the children's area of the library on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:30am
Join us in the children's area at the library for stories, songs, and fun! Storytime encourages language development and fosters a love of books and a lifetime of learning. Parents and caregivers will learn about early literacy and get tips on how to help their child become ready to read. Siblings and guests are always welcome.
Storytimes for 2019 begin on January 8 and continue through April 25. After a break, storytime will resume for the summer in June.
