March 30, 2019, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Buckham Memorial Library
Buckham Memorial Library is excited to sponsor the library’s annual Edible Books Festival, taking place on Saturday, March 30.
The Edible Books Festival is an International literary event where all entries must represent literature, using only edible food items in the design.
The design could be a book, a character in a book, a book title, a play on words of a book title. It could be a cake, cupcakes, a sandwich—any kind of food can be used, but only food. No toothpicks, cardboard etc.
Although the displays must be made of edible items, they will not be judged on taste and will not be eaten by the judges. They will be judged on design and how closely they follow a literary theme.
Come in to the library for more information, rules and an entry form beginning March 1st.
